Senior Quality Manager

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Enable and manage quality performance for assigned languages and ensure quality meets the differentiated customer needs;
- Utilize a deep data driven approach to assess quality of translation services and analyze quality drivers;
- Design and deploy quality improvement plans;
- Working with the latest technologies;
- Coach supplier performance;
- Collaborate with the Lionbridge Enablement team on driving innovation for the automated QA process;
- Lead and provide support, coaching and mentoring a team of Quality Leads;
- Responsible for training and performance management;
- Foster team collaboration and open exchange of ideas and information;
- Provide support and back up to Language Excellence Manager and contribute to key internal quality management discussions;
- Deep understanding of the customer business and evolving needs;
- Closely collaborate with key stakeholders on customer side in all areas and processes related to languagequality.
Requirements
- A degree in linguistics or management studies;
- Experience as a Language Lead or in general localization and translation industry will be an asset;
- Fluent in English and one other language with passion about language quality. Proficiency in industry-standard software;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis and quality Improvement tools;
- Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity and juggle multiple assignments and deadlines associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment;
- Strong focus on team building skills, proven experience in investing in growing maturity and careers of team members.
