For our client, a leader in it's sector, we are currently looking for a person to fill the newly created, independent position of Senior Payroll Analyst.
The successful Candidate would oversee the EMEA payroll cycle process and manage relationships with HR Business Partners to provide payroll customer service for the EMEA employee base of approximately 400 employees in 12 countries. The responsibilities would also include identifying and implementing payroll activity process improvements and best practices to drive process excellence and reduce error risk, developing project plans for reporting and monitoring of process improvement initiatives.The payroll team is located in US, Poland and India. As successful Candidate you will also maintain effective internal controls for the payroll function and proactively work with management to identify efficiency improvements and gaps, build and manage strong working relationship with internal groups, such as Benefits and Compensation, as well as with Company’s outside payroll processing provider, including setting service standards, maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Payroll and Payroll Tax for the EMEA regions, partner with key stakeholders to administer employee benefits, stock transactions, etc. related to payroll, develop worldwide expatriate payroll process; track expatriates wages, tax filings and ad hoc reports; work in conjunction with HR and 3rd party vendor, interprets Company policy and government regulations that affect payroll to ensure compliance of payroll policies and practices, be responsible for payroll-related SOX testing and compliance, as well as internal and external audit requests. Moreover you will establish and maintain internal key metrics and ongoing reporting of performance, participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
To be a successful Candidate you should have Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, hold minimum 4 years of experience in a multi-national payroll department. Your asset will be experience in system implementation and/or process improvement, exposure to SOX documentation and testing procedures, Oracle and GL experience
