Every day, Euroclear processes around 200,000 settlement transactions. At the very heart of our organisation, the Operations Division is responsible for delivering premier settlement and asset services to our clients.
FundSettle provides a single access to 80000 + investment funds to our clients through a network of more than 500 agents. The funds industry continues to grow and Euroclear has a strategic objective to capture a substantial part of the cross-border market.

You will join the Operational management team in Krakow, Euroclear Bank’s new branch office and will be working with colleagues across Belgium and Hong Kong.
You will start as a Senior Operational and People Manager. Later on there will be an opportunity to take up a role of Single Process Owner (responsible for the process design of 1 specific process managed across locations).
As operational and People Manager, you will be responsible to manage several teams in Krakow, including to:
- Coach and develop the skills of the team leaders and the team members
- Ensure team motivation, proper delegation and empowerment of your team through effective people management
- Ensure lean principles and continuous improvement methodology is part of the DNA of the team
- Foster effective collaboration with the teams and the Single Process Owner (SPO), located in Belgium
- Ensure transparent communication in full synchronisation with the SPO based in Belgium (on operational observations, people issues or changes, broad action or changes foreseen)
- Provide input into the budget process,
- Manage recruitment
- Manage risks and controls
You will be reporting locally to the head of the branch and functionally to the Funds department head based in Belgium.
As Single Process Owner, you will be responsible for a process across all locations including:
- managing the day-to-day service delivery, risks and controls
- designing and changing the process by understanding customer needs
- understanding and translating company vision into strategies, objectives and priorities for own process
- managing costs and budget
- managing internal and external client relationship, process & client service escalations
- maintaining roles and responsibilities of an Operational and People Manager for teams and team leaders located in Krakow
You will have dual reporting lines to the local Management in Krakow and to the Department Head based in Belgium.
Your Profile
To be a successful candidate you must have:
- Min. 8 years of business experience including People Management
- Operational experience (managing processing teams) preferably in the finance and banking sector
- Funds business knowledge is an asset
- Experience in continuous improvement e.g. Lean, Six Sigma
- Experience in working across departments and preferably across borders
- Strong coaching and motivation skills
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills and relationship management
- Strong risk management skills
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Drive and readiness to change
