- Leading and managing landscape design projects to deliver on time and within budgeted hours
- Cooperating and coordinating designs with lead engineers and other disciplines
- Providing or consulting concept designs for various infrastructure projects
- Preparing plans, details and reports for relevant project design elements
- Utilizing relevant software programs in preparing drawings and visualizations
- Leading in the development of proposals, and project deliverables in a team environment
- Preparing and managing deliverables for project proposals, concept development, and public presentations
- Communicating design concepts and technical information to clients, stakeholders, permitting agencies, and internal team members
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 5-10 years landscape architecture experience, preferably in infrastructure projects
- Provide advice direct to internal clients and external clients
- Development and mentoring of existing more junior staff
- The ability to work as a ‘one team’ culture and promote that ethos with the team;
- Good communication skills- spoken and written- preparing presentations, writing reports in English, attending meetings in English
- The ability to take the initiative and have the necessary skills to aid the delivery of a variety of projects within a multi-disciplined organisation
- Able to work with AutoCad, Photoshop, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign and other design software and BIM
- Willingness to travel to the UK
- Understanding of UK standards and legislation pertinent to landscape architecture (training will be provided if needed)
- Ability to coordinate and manage geographically dispersed projects and teams
