For us to transform the IT-Helpdesk and get even better, we are looking for a skilled Senior IT Supporter who will challenge the current setup and together with the team deliver even more value to our users – also in high sea.
As a part of the IT-Helpdesk team you will be the valuable first point of contact for our users. The team is responsible for resolving user incidents, monitor and maintain our IT systems and more. Continuous improvement is part of our DNA, and we want to utilize new technologies such as chatbots and AI to achieve this. You will have the practical responsibility to proactively explore possibilities and implement them.
We focus on being available, reliable and have good relations to our users based on a foundation of great technical knowledge and good business insight. To facilitate those focus areas, learning and knowledge sharing are on top of the agenda in the team. The Senior IT Supporter will act as the right hand to the Department Manager and will be responsible achieving and maintaining a superior IT-Helpdesk setup.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Global 1st and 2nd line support on all Unifeeder systems.
- IT request handling via phone, e-mail, Skype or in person.
- Incident solving regarding internal systems and hardware-related issues.
- Challenge as-is.
- Communication with stakeholders on request and incident status.
- Participating in IT projects (e.g. new software implementation).
- Ensuring that all Helpdesk processes are documented and knowledge is shared in department.
- Carrying out ad-hoc tasks.
- Three to five years of experience from a related IT position.
- A university degree – business or IT.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/16/19, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft SQL, Azure, AD as well as Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with Citrix.
- Fluent in English.
- Has sense of urgency.
- Independent in looking for solutions and improvements.
