Position Description
- Day to day leadership of HR Shared Services team providing Recruiting Admin and Reporting services to QIAGEN companies.
- Holding regular meetings with the team members to review ongoing performance, achievement of annual goals, identify development needs and opportunities.
- Take ownership and being responsible for processes and people.
- Provide regular updates to HR SSC Manager including KPI reporting & process change control;
- Ensure process continuity.
- Recruitment of new team members,
- Providing support to transition teams while migrating new activities into the center.
- Initiate and implement process improvements;
- Provide information and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Communicate to the team assignments, projects, problems to be solved, deadlines, and issues for review.
- Assist the team in setting, distributing and balancing tasks and workload based on members' skills and professional specialties.
- Train or arrange training for team members in team-building and teamwork, as well as in technical areas needed to accomplish team goals.
- Monitor and report on the status of work.
- Participation in projects related to improving efficiency and work quality.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, employees of other departments and business partners.
- Cooperation with internal and external auditors as well as responsibility for preparing documents for the auditors.
- Performing other tasks assigned by the HR SSC Manager
Position Requirements
- Graduate with Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
- 1-2 HR Shared Services (SSC) experience a must.
- Min 3-4 years of relevant Team Leader/People Management experience.
- Active involvement in migrating work to an SSC desirable.
- Able to identify improvement opportunities and drive implementation.
- Fluent English language is essential.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload.
