Our client, aworld-leading FMCG company is the process of developing a new Finance Shared Services Centre in Krakow. Due to their continued success and expansion in Poland, we are now looking to recruit Accountants to join their General Ledger/RTR team.
Reporting to a Finance Process Team Leader, you will be a member of a high performing team and will play a significant role in the success of this well- known organization, working in a fast moving shared service environment.
As a part of the team you will be taking part in migration processes from other countries to a newly formed Finance Shared Service Unit, located in Krakow.
The process will include Journal Postings, Reconciliations, Inventory Accounting and Fixed Asset Accounting, closing Sub Ledgers, Suspense Account Clearing, Inter-company Reconciliations, Trial Balance Generation, Financial Statement Preparation and Management, and Statutory & Tax Reporting.
THE ROLE :
- Developing and maintaining working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations and interpretations governing financial statements and disclosure, including Russian GAAP, IFRS, Companies Acts and Stock Exchange listing requirements.
- Playing a key role in the training and development of new team members.
- Communicating with clients on a regular basis, ensuring timely and accurate responses to any client queries.
- Journal posting, reconciliations, Inventory Accounting and Fixed Asset Accounting.
- Trial balance generation, Financial Statement Preparation.
- Day to day operational activities.
- Timely completion of all allocated tasks (Daily, weekly, Monthly) as set out by management.
- Dealing with customer queries.
For the roles you should have a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related subject, combined with some previous experience in a professional environment within accounting, administration or finance.
The Senior roles require at least 3 years previous accounting / finance experience, previous experience using accounting systems(e.g. SAP, Oracle) and appreciation of local regulatory requirements (GAAP or IFRS).
The successful candidates for junior positions will have previous experience working in an accounting, finance, administration or customer service positions, preferably in a large multinational environment. You should hold a University degree in finance or a related subject and/or be part qualified in a recognized Accountancy body. Ideally you will have strong computer skills, good attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills
Candidate should be fluent in English, have excellent communication skills, good attention to details and strong computer skills.
