For our client, international company, from FMCG sector we are looking for experienced professional for the position:
Senior GL Accountant with Greek or Russian
Location: Cracow
Responsibilities:
- managing one of the following General Ledger processes: Tax/Fixed Assets/Banking,
- General Ledger Accounting,
- performing period end close processes for General Ledger and bank statement reconciliations,
- bank reconciliations which includes maintaining bank account details, reporting on cash and liquidity management,
- preparing monthly VAT liquidation, monthly Witholding tax check and intrastat,
- fixed assets management including additions and disposals,
- ensuring that daily operations are carried out according to set targets,
- identifying potential process improvements,
- updating regularly the team leader around developments and progress of relevant operational issues,
- developing strong working relationship with relevant stakeholders,
- involvement in the transition processes.
Requirements:
- min. 2 years of experience in accounting (preferably in GL department),
- good command of Greek or Russian and fluent English,
- an university degree,
- energetic and enthusiastic approach to team work,
- ability to work under pressure.
