- The gRED BusOps team is seeking a highly motivated developer for a wide portfolio of business.
- Must be ready to work with Pacific Timezone.
- Potentially developing applications in various software languages and application
- maintenance
- Contribute to the design and architecture of our platform, and help scale the platform to build new features
- A desire to collaborate with and innovate with our teams (both technical and non- technical members)
- Work with Product Owners to analyze requests and create requirements
- Working closely with other software developers, system architects, designers, and stakeholders
- Presenting ideas for improvements
- Attending meetings after 5pm CET (4x/week)
- Available for overseas business trips (2 weeks, maximum 1-2 times per year)
Full stack web development with extensive front-end experience
- Advanced knowledge of the LAMP stack, especially proficient knowledge of PHP 7: backend work and implementation
- Proficient in version control systems such as GIT
- Understanding of database (relational / nosql) and website development
- Proficient understanding of front-end markup, including HTML5 and CSS and SCSS
Qualifications:
- BS in computer science or software engineering with minimum 7 years professional experience in software development (10+ years preferred), or minimum 7 years professional experience if no BS
- Experience working on a scrum team and/or in a very team-oriented environment; willing to help drive the project instead of waiting to receive requests
- A good understanding of Object Oriented design patterns, especially patterns that avoid
- edundancy and promote efficiency, legibility, testability, and maintainability of code
- Ability to deal with multiple projects at a time
- Very self-motivated to work independently, and proactively take ownership of timelines and deliverables
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Experience working in a global environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS
- and Angular, React, jQuery
- Familiar in backend frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
- Familiar with the WordPress platform and other open-source frameworks/CMS, and have
- experience developing custom themes and plugins
- Experience designing / architecting applications
- Experience with ES6 / Webpack, Gulp, NPM/Node
- Familiarity with the following technologies
o Jira, Git
o REST API development
o Redis
o MongoDB
o Oracle
o MySQL
o Apache Solr
