Senior Financial Planning Analyst

For our Global Business Services (GBS) Center in Kraków that provides global support and expertise in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Project Management, IT and HR, we are looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, who will be supporting our IT organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively shaping and influencing IT Senior Management's decision-making process by managing the analysis and reporting around key business drivers
- Converting monthly and quarterly detailed financial data into understandable reporting summaries, analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations to be used by IT Senior Management
- Supporting the monthly forecast process and annual budget plan process in a manner that drives and supports the strategic imperatives of the business, leveraging the documented forecast process and timelines
- Assisting in monthly close process to ensure proper financials are reported. Including, but not limited to accruals, reclassification entries, variance analysis & other required reporting
- Participating in key business initiatives, preparing "what – if" scenarios on certain business risk factors, break-even analysis, performing benchmarking and other ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Collaborating with IT organization on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives
- Analyzing, recommending & implementing process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency of the IT Finance processes while also increasing the informative value of the content provided to IT Senior Management
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data for IT leadership and our Business leaders
- Providing mentorship of IT Finance team to help support development of staff for future career enhancements and financial skill improvements
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA and/or CPA or equivalent is a plus)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Fluent English skills (both oral and written)
- Strong P&L and financial modeling skills
- Outstanding knowledge of IT products and services; knowledge of Technology Business Management practices and Apptio is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop key business relationships & convey financial results to non-finance team members
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, must be able to proactively engage financial data to make recommendations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Solid organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to identify & implement continuous processes improvements
- Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Planning platforms
