Senior Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist

Requirements:
- University degree - finance and accounting, economy, business administration
- Analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (General Ledger or Financial Statements)
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- As a plus: IFRS experience, knowledge of insurance/financial services legislation and regulations, accounting certification, SAP knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Calculate and perform general ledger bookings and account reconciliation (e.g. calculate deferred income tax, accruals, provisions, pre-payments)
- Intercompany reconciliation and postings
- Provide Group and external reporting (BS, P&L, notes to financial statement - according to IFRS, Irish GAAP and Solvency regulations)
- Perform various closing activities e.g. revaluation, regrouping and cost allocation cycles
- Support/collaborate in various projects such as analysis and implementation of Group Chart of Accounts changes
- Ongoing contact with various stakeholders e.g. FAR Controllers, BU accountants, actuaries, Consolidation, Performance and Planning, Treasury, Investment Accounting
- Execute and review controls within SOX framework
- Create comprehensive process documentation
