Senior Communication Specialist

Role Requirements and Key Responsibilities
Working as part of the global communication team in Infrastructure Services the Senior Communication Specialist will need to:
- Manage the regular communication needs of the Global Operations Leadership Team
- Enhance and maintain the plan for communication in line with the Group and Global Operations outlines
- Act on the key communication activities for Global Operations
- Organise face to face meetings in each geography (with local communication leads)
- Own the content on the Talent site for Global Operations – source news and updates and maintain the site
- Look after the Global Operations organisation charts to maintain relevance and accuracy
- Work with the change management leaders to ensure message accuracy and consistency
- Create and own the Distribution Lists for Global Operations and work with the regions to ensure any changes are reflected in the charts
- Work with identified stakeholders and provide analysis for Global Operations transformation
- Collate the monthly global communications update
- Programme manage the various work streams of the Global Operations communication campaigns
- Play an active role in the Global Internal Communication Community
Candidate’s profile
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- Knowledge and experience of writing and editing news articles in business English
- Flair and flexibility with writing style to suit different media
- An understanding of organization change management in relation to internal communication
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good customer communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent analysis skills and attention to detail
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Recognition of sensitivities and varying communication requirements across countries
