Senior Channel Manager

Job description
The Senior Channel Manager will be responsible for growing the in-store presence and brand visibility of our BeoPlay range of products, both nurturing existing accounts and developing the business with new accounts with a heavy focus on improving sales and growth of the brand.
The position will be based in Poland but reporting into the Eastern Europe team located in Denmark. For the right candidate, there will be growth opportunities to expand the geographical coverage to include other Eastern Europe countries once development progresses.
Performance is the key word for this position, and the candidate is required to have the ability to analyse new potential business opportunities along the way. The Senior channel manager must have a constant focus on sales efforts and results and will be in close dialogue with the Head of the department in the respective region on developing and executing sales strategies and expanding the Third-party reseller portfolio. Furthermore, the Senior Channel Manager will put great effort in building close relationships with existing as well as prospective partners and Third-party resellers (i.e. Apple stores, consumer electronic stores, Strategic B2B partners etc) in the region.
Moreover, The Senior Channel manager will plan and execute channel marketing plans for each customer, report weekly and monthly status and forecasts and use mystery shopping results to improve the overall customer experience.
The Senior Channel Manager will be the one to negotiate the best brand and product positioning, thus, a big part of the job will be to develop and nurture close relationships with our resellers and customers, e.g. product managers, buyers, store managers or department managers. This also includes providing them with training where you share your knowledge and unique selling points for the products as well as following up with top stores to secure best execution and support sell through.
Requirements
- Strong background within consumer electronics sales and have 5+ years of experience and great results within retail (AV or luxury brand) and/or B2B sector in Poland
- It is a plus if you have relationships with Polish AV retailers, AV chains and stores
- You possess a broad business understanding, commercial acumen and preferably knowledge of the Polish (and Eastern Europe) audio and lifestyle market
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Proactive, using own initiative
- Take ownership in area of work with minimal supervision
- Service minded and likeable
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Cheerful and outgoing personality with a high level of self-motivation
- Result and customer oriented (very good understanding of partner’s needs)
