Your role
The role holder will be responsible for the oversight and run-the-bank production of the wealth management financial performance reports, metrics and related ad hoc analyses, investigations and new development checkout.
Responsibilities:
- Running and maintaining of regular scheduled processes and reports in Oracle SQL
- Independent research of data and results to determine source of issues and changes that need to be implemented into the code
- Developing and running various ad-hoc data queries and delivering results in concise manner to internal clients/stakeholders
- Proposing and implementing improvements and automation for existing processes
- Performing to the highest levels of due diligence on agreed data areas with proactive management of controls and quality standards
- Ensuring all procedural documentation relevant to the reporting environment is maintained up-to-date.
- Strong partnering with US based team, CFO, Accounting and IT
Your team
The RAS (Reporting & Analytics Services) Wealth Management Americas (WMA) Financial Performance team is positioned within global RAS. The team provides critical management information around WMA Line of Business's KPIs (key performance indicators), invested assets, NNM, P&L, FA performance, internal/external benchmark information, client data, as well as various ad-hoc reporting & analysis on various business drivers. This critical management information and reports enable day to day decision making.
The diverse team includes approx. 13 professionals in Poland and several in the U.S. The environment is fast paced and fully engaged with the various business division stakeholders and the CFO organization.
The role is located in the UBS office in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park).
Your experience and skills
You have:
- Bachelors' degree, preferably Math, Stats, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Engineering
- Strong knowledge and experience in coding with Oracle SQL and working with databases
- Ability to work on unstructured projects: have a goal or problem and figure out the steps needed to get to right outcome.
- Experience in business / data analysis and reporting to solve business problems
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- (Preferably) Any of the following additional skills/assets: VBA to facilitate automation, PC SAS Base, experience with mainframe / TSO, ability to use BI tools (Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.), Wealth Management or Securities Industry knowledge
You are:
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- A person with a strong feel for numbers and intuitive sense for QA
- Able to assimilate information quickly and understand the context of reporting deliverables produced
- Able to prioritize own workload
- Self motivated, proactive and ready to ask the right questions
