For our Client, well-recognised power company located in Gliwice and in Katowice, we are currently looking for a Candidate interested in the role of Senior Application Engineer.
Your new role
As an Senior Application Engineer you will be working in a team that is very close to the functional application maintenance as well as business. You will also ensuring that agreed service levels for up-time and other KPI’s are met at any time and identyfing improvement areas and continuously improve the delivered High Available IT Services. As an Senior Application Engineer you should be ready to on-call.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role it is important that you are self-driven, exact, analytic, critical and knows how to prioritize. Moreover you need to have some experience in designing, building and operating of Server virtualization enviroments, filesystems, fiber options and backup and administration. You also need to have knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows 2008 and up) and experience in writing scripts in either SaltStack, Jenkins or Powershell. Proficiency in English is required because of international environment.
