Departament Marketing Statement
The Security Operations Sr. Specialist is the primary point of contact for all operational security matters for Brown Brothers Harriman in Krakow, Poland. The Security Operations Sr. Specialist is the primary source of security technical expertise, and assistance to Krakow staff, and management teams for both strategic and day-to-day security operations. This role will independently manage the daily security operations and escalate to the European Security Manager as needed. Specific duties will vary but there will be a key focus on using BBH Global Security procedures as well as the security industry’s best practices to mitigate risk and protect the Firm’s assets and personnel.
Responsibilities
Physical Security:

Serves as a main point of contact for security matters in Krakow office

Coordinates and manages security access control systems for the Firm’s Krakow Office

Investigates and documents all security incidents that impact the Firm and its staff and recommends action needed to mitigate future occurrences

Works with the Health and Safety Specialist to ensure building meets health and life safety and security requirements

If needed - provides security awareness training to staff

Contacts security vendors to provide coverage for special events, Human Resources and as directed by the European Security Manager.
Security System Maintenance and Reporting:

Maintains Kantech/CCURE 9000 Security Access Control Systems and CCTV

Ensures all security equipment is functioning properly - initiate preventive & corrective maintenance as needed

Works closely with security technology vendors

Prepares Security Incident reports for European Security manager as needed

Ensures that employees, vendors and contractors are utilizing the security access request database to prevent any unauthorized access into secure areas of the Firm
General Administration:

Provides assistance for emergency response and planning

Monitors and manages Security Access Request Database requests

Actively participates in security and relevant services meetings

Produces and administers all access card issuance for the Krakow Office.
Qualifications
Education level and/or relevant experience(s):
-
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
-
Position requires two to four years of security management experience in multi facility operations.

European or Policja Law enforcement or experience preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication presentation, leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical):

Familiarity with Fire, Health & Safety regulations

Verbal and written English skills required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes.

Analytical skills with experience in conflict resolution
