Position purpose
We are looking for IT/accounting/finance specialist who has experience in working within SAP environment.
Business Analyst: responsible to support on-going development and daily operations of finance applications in particular:
- Collect and elaborate business requirements from stakeholder groups and perform implementation
- Support and (in case of absences deputise) application manager during 8 closing cycles per year
- Ensure compliance according to internal and external rules in terms of platform management, access management, and documentation
- Support transitions of new applications
Platform Coordinator: Responsible to coordinate cross application activities on one of shared BI platform, including:
- Act as focal point of contact for application managers, Group IT, and their service providers in the area
- Reconcile availability, stability and performance requirements across single applications to establish and maintain platform wide standards
Main accountabilities
Operations:
- Provide and broker support services to multiple customer groups and manage Group IT contacts
- Collect and elaborate business requirements from stakeholder groups and transform into solution design, plan and manage implementation either by configuring directly or by coordinating implementation with suppliers from G-IT and/or external consultants
- Support and (in case of absences deputise) application manager by acting as key point of contact for business stakeholders and G-IT teams
- Support application managers by coordinating cross application related matters and activities with Group IT and their service providers to ensure overall consistency for OneBiz platform
- Act as change coordinator for OneBiz platform , i.e. collect requirements, perform impact analysis and provide expertise and guidance
- Plan and execute implementation of change requests in areas of expertise
Process development:
- Review existing processes and tools to improve/ streamline existing operations processes
- Support reviews on application landscape to gain efficiencies and improve comfort level
Requirements
At least 2 years working experience in an international accounting and reporting environment, preferably in an insurance company or consulting firm with appropriate background, especially in security and user management in FI/CO and related modules
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or IT
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (proficient with MS Excel, Access)
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Service oriented, able to work well under pressure
- Flexible in working style and hours (especially during regulatory reporting cycles)
- Ability to manage scope of work, prioritize and escalate issues as required
- Sufficient know how in the relevant business area (e.g. accounting, planning and controlling)
- Strong knowledge on finance related modules and functionalities
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, good communication and presentation skills
- Good communicator orally and written.
- Strong organizational and able to multi-task
- Process improvement focused
