SAP Consultant is Subject Matter Expert (SME) involved in all Plant Maintenance related data design decision-making processes, related to his/her expertise, to build the foundation of the future Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. he/she collaborates closely with the Master Data Team and participates to the data object definition, mapping, migration and validation activities. Bringing a deep expertise on SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Module, the engagement and collaboration of the Global Data SME with the Local Data / Process SMEs are crucial. Hhe/she reports to the P2D Process & Team Lead.
Your responsibilities
- As expert in his/her area, the main responsibilities of the PM Data SME are:
- At the data design stage:
- Maintenance
- Member of E2E Plant Stream and working with Master Data Stream
- Responsible for Plant Maintenance related master data definition together with Cluster Data SPOC (single-point-of-contact)
- Own Plant Maintenance related Data Objects
- Design: Collaborates with the solution delivery team to provide input on current busi-ness processes and technology solution architecture, and on requirements for the to-be state
- Supports the Change Impact Assessment and Training Needs Analysis
- Design: Acts as an ambassador for the new solution in the global organization
- Design: Ensure that outcomes of the global design sessions are aligned with the Rei-wa global template & principles
- Design: Participate in design workshops if required by the BL & Archetype Leader, Process Leader or Function Leader
- Design: Analyze process and make clear recommendation to the Process Leader
- Design: Provide process expertise and guidance to support Key Design Decision (KDD) discussions led by the Process Leader
- Design: Support decision-making during development of MVP
- Design: Identify areas where technical solutions would improve respective process
- Design: Review final process defined and ensure technical solutions are correct and meet designed process
- Build a network of other experts across the different Business units and functions
- Design: Reach out to other SMEs to discuss and understand specific topics if required
- Support the harmonization of the process by enforcing the adherence to committed guiding principles of the program, especially around fit to standard approach

- Design: Embed Hitachi Energy best practices where relevant in the design and stand-ards of the new ERP Global template
- Preparation / Design: Act as Third line of defense for global template reviewing and approving any new requirements coming from Countries
Your background
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Global view and thorough expe-rience of PM Master Data
- >5 years of experience in S/4 Hana PM Module
- >5 years of experience in the area of expertise
- Demonstrable credentials as a leading Subject Matter Expert
- Experienced representing the interests and requirements of the business in an IT implementation project
- Leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and discuss technical solution with stakeholders
- Leadership capability to establish a network of experts and animate a community (remote as well)
- Fluent in English language and good interpersonal and communication skills
