Sales / Business Development Director

Job description
We are highly motivated and ambitious to expand our operations into the polish market and this key role will be the driver of our success. To realise this ambition we need a self motivated, ambitious and target driven business development professional to join the team.
You will work closely with the General Manager - Poland, and the UK based Management team to develop and implement the marketing and sales strategy for Poland. You will also have some day to day operational management responsibilities to support the development and expansion of the business further.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide research and analysis of market and competitive information in support of business capture, pursuits and other strategic assessments;
- Attend customer and industry briefings to gather information on customers and competitors;
- Develop new customers and relationships through to sales and account management;
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales;
- Work with the production and delivery teams to ensure customer expectations are met and managed in line with our service level agreements;
- Ensure that the product is delivered on time, on quality, on budget and to customer satisfaction;
- Supporting group management in day to day operations for the Polish business.
Requirements
- Proven track record in new business sales, achieving and exceeding targets;
- Experience of selling e-learning products;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Previous experience in a management role;
- Able to demonstrate commercial awareness in all aspects of the role;
- Confident and Informed decision making;
- Good written and spoken English;
- Be driven, self motivated and hungry to exceed targets;
- Be committed to your own development
