Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. - Coordinate completion of all general ledger process related activities for applicable client entities in line with the contract
- Monitor team's adherence to client policies and procedures pertaining to General Ledger
- Serves as the primary Client and Accenture contact for GL process
- Preparation / review of annual financial statements (Compliance only)
- Preparation / review of year end audit files (Compliance only)
- Support audit of financial statements as required (Compliance only)
- Review of balance sheet accounts reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation process
- Perform a high level review of both B/S and P/L for errors, omissions or inconsistencies
- Manage the relationship with the business counterpart
- Ensuring effective communication within the business counterpart to address all issues and lead resolution actions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Managing Team of 5-10 people
- Fluent English
- Master degree in accountancy, economics or finance
- At least 4+ years work experience with relevant Accounting or Finance experience
- At least 2+ years proven supervisory or management track record
- MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle)
- Knowledge of GAAP's, SOX control and reporting standards/procedures
- Very strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Ability to work analytically within a problem solving environment
- Communicative and open-minded attitude
- High standard of professional conduct
- Excellent business writing skills, proficient in report writing, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to maintain confidential information
