Job Summary
To effectively support planning, implementation and coordination of strategies to improve risk controls by promoting best practice and raising awareness through effective Risk Management programmes, implementing and conducting effective audit programmes and delivering priorities in line with corporate Best Standard practises.
Key Responsibilities
- To support planning & development and implement the Company Risk Business Plan
- Manage, develop, co-ordinate & deliver Risk Certificate workshops in line with the divisions business needs.
- Manage, support & develop the risk business partner’s to ensure effective execution of the Risk business plan through coaching & use of the leadership success factors.
- To positively influence Senior Managers to ensure compliance with risk policies and adopt best practises at all times.
- Support education of store teams through effective feedback sessions and training
- Provide specialist support and guidance within individual regions as and when required.
- Support new stores post opening, in line with the risk audit business plan, to assess levels of potential risk & support development of improvement action plans.
- Maintain understanding of current & new legislation, communicate potential exposures and provide sound business solutions.
- Develop, co-ordinate and deliver effective Risk training programmes to all levels in the business
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies
- Investigate serious incidents and provide recommendations for improvement
- Manage potential liability claims through analysis, investigation and provide strategic solutions to reduce loss
- Work closely with Co-dependants to improve awareness and reduce risks
- Coordinate and maintain an emergency response plan and reporting process to effectively manage potentially major incidents
- Drive Risk awareness through all levels of the business
