For one of our client, a global financial institution, we currently looking for:
- Supporting Head of the Risk Management department, focusing on operational risk and credit risk tasks, implementing and strengthening the corporation’s Operational Risk Framework
- Supporting implementation of the methodology for identifying and assessing operational risks
- Analyzing operational risk events, developing recommendations for appropriate mitigating actions and preparing design of preventions and mitigation-strategies to prevent reoccurrence of risk events
- Contributing to the construction of an information system for operations areas, developing a database of incidents, determining the process of capturing data into existing systems, etc.
- Active development of risk methodologies and ad hoc studies, contributing to complex projects and analyses in operational risk matters
- Working independently under limited supervision of Head of Risk Management department
- Supporting market surveillance on risk-related topics and internal & external regulations.
- Cooperating with colleagues in broader EMEA Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) organization
- Degree in finance, business, accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a financial services organization, ideally within the asset management/- servicing industry and preferably with a risk management focus - operational risk experience will be an asset
- Experience in people management will be an asset
- Skilled and experienced in using and understanding the capabilities of (operational) risk management software packages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint applications
- VBA programming and macros
- Fluent (spoken & written) in Polish and English. Additionally French, Italian or German would be an asset
- Excellent communications, negotiation and presentation skills
- Analytical, reliable and goal-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and planning skills and ability to work to deadlines
