About this opportunity
In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with a variety of specialists from different parts of the Bank, and we expect you to effectively work with this group of stakeholders to deliver results. You also need to be able to understand existing procedures and controls in depth as well as proactively initiate improvement efforts.
What you’ll be doing:
- Run periodic data quality forums for business users
- Support data quality root-cause analysis within complex data structures
- Monitor data quality performance based on established dashboards and reports
- Report Key Performance Indicators to various committees
- Proactively look for potential data issues and propose enhancements
The role is based in Warszawa.

The preferred candidate has relevant knowledge and experience working with financial instruments and have a general understanding of risk data. You should communicate effectively, make prioritization calls with a large number of stakeholders and also build good relationships with colleagues with diverse competences, nationalities and job responsibilities.
You should have an analytical mindset with a good command of reading SQL scripts and also writing basic ad hoc queries. You should be familiar with concepts of measuring and reporting data quality performance.
Your experience and background:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- Relevant experience within financial markets and financial risk
- Experience with relational data models including good command of SQL
- Experience with data quality measurement and KPIs
- Analytical mindset, general data mining skills (Pivot tables etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Strong written and verbal skills in English
- Experience with multidimensional data models is a plus
- Experience with financial regulations (EGIM, BCBS 239, FRTB etc.) is a plus
