Your role
Are you interested in risk? Do you know how to implement risk processes? We’re looking for someone like that to:
- Assist with the investigation of credit limit excesses caused by Investment Bank trading to support the Credit Officer community and Senior Management, in order to identify possible unauthorized trading
- Build a very strong understanding of Excess Management data and business process, including Investment Bank trading products (OTC Derivatives, Securities Lending, Money Market etc)
- Liaise with Legal, Methodology, Risk IT, Front Office, Operations departments etc, to resolve excesses on a day to day basis
- Spot trends in excesses and check that material issues are escalated to the team lead
Your team
You’ll be working in the Risk Control Operations Excess Management team in Krakow. The team is part of the Credit Exposure, Data and Excess Management team located in London, Krakow and Nashville, USA. Whilst our function covers Investment Banking business, our team is part of Primary Risk in the Corporate Centre, which ensures that our business divisions operate a coherent and effective whole by providing and managing support and control functions for the business divisions and the Group including risk management, control, finance and legal.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or numerical discipline
- strong decision making skills and initiative, ability to exercise good judgment and escalate issues to line manager
- strong analytical skills and process driven
- excellent communication skills & you know how to handle challenging situations
- experience in credit risk highly desirable
You are:
- a highly motivated self-starter with a successful track record in managing multiple tasks
- team-orientated, while able to complete tasks independently
- English speaking & written skills a must
