Your role
The Risk Control Operations (RCO) team operates as a business support and change function, supporting all aspects of Credit and Market Risk Control’s technology and business process change. RCO is composed of RCO Support & Exposure Management Team, RCO Data Management, RCO Change team and RWA Team.
This role will form part of the global RCO Support & Exposure Management team and will be based in Krakow.
Key responsibilities:
- Pick up daily queries received from the credit officers and follow up for resolution
- Review exposure and netting issues that can affect Limit and Capital numbers.
- Ensure that issues are well understood and communicated to the wider credit community and are dealt with appropriately
- Production and review of control reports, generate metrics, update issues log etc.
Your team
The Risk Support team is responsible for assessing the reasonableness of credit risk exposure numbers for the credit community as a whole. It acts as the main point of contact for the Credit Officers who are the main stakeholders and is responsible for the communication and escalation of any issues impacting the exposures or affecting credit risk functionalities.
The successful candidate will join a global team and will gain significant exposure to all aspects of the Credit Risk environment. They will work within a diverse environment that encompasses Credit Risk Officers, Legal, Risk Methodology experts, IT professionals and project managers.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to cope with stressful scenarios and make appropriate decisions in a short time frame
- Good understanding of current credit infrastructure and products traded by UBS
You are:
- Self-motivated team player with the drive and enthusiasm to learn
- Service-oriented and able to prioritize your workload
- Fluent in English
