Position Summary
Reporting to the Country Managing Director Poland & Baltics you will be responsible for proposing, establishing and implementing the general strategy for retail sales development in Poland & Baltics for following brands: Lee, Wrangler, The North Face, Vans, Kipling, Eastpak, Napapijri, working closely with the VF HQ's and team in Poland. In this role you will have opportunity to design and execute store roll out plan with the best class partners. You will be responsible for adding revenue and strategic relationships to our business, achieving profitability and sales targets. Responsibility stands as well in building motivated and high performing team through the effective leadership and line management to retail staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Flow Management: maximizing sales with best margin, lowest cost to get highest contribution, stock management
- Cost Management: constantly review of store sales numbers, cost of inventory operational expenses and inventory loss, develop plan to maximize profit and reduce loss on store level
- Retail Marketing: implement and coordinate marketing calendar, window concepts are in time and properly installed, organize and implement sales promotions and any marketing activities agreed throughout the multiple sites
- Property Management: finding best location, negotiate contracts, maintain and develop key relations with leasing firms and Landlords, ensure the right architect and fixture builder with best price and execution
- Retail Operations: continuously improve all retail KPI's, implementation of policies and procedures, new store openings, remodel, closing of the stores, make sure that all the partner stores are using same information technology to record sales figures and KPIs for data analysis, Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
- People Management: attract and retain talents in retail team, create the best sales team to deliver the best customer service, providing training and development opportunity to the team spends time in shops with retail shop teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies
- Brand Management: communicate closely with brand mgmt and thereby maintain the full support in the management of the stores in their markets
- Partner Management: find best-class retail partners for our PSS portfolio, evaluate market conditions and create an expansion strategy for PSS expansion
Qualifications
Education/Skills:
- University Degree
- At least 5 years within an international environment and with leadership responsibilities within Retail Department (corporation) preferably in fashion industry
- Have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and get buy in from stakeholders
- Strategic thinker
