Regular / Senior .NET Developer

• Design and implementation of one or more products / modules in .NET framework
• Participation on development of various aspects of the product (business logic, database, user interface)
• Create design documents from requirements
• Collaborate with testing, documentation and product management

• Work in a small dynamic team with good career opportunities

• Design simple features with minimal guidance

• Implement complex features with some supervision
• Properly use source code tools
• Able to author complex unit tests
• Effectively debug own code
• Perform code reviews
• Create accurate SWAGs for features with supervision

Other Software Developer responsibilities:

• Effectively communicates with other members of the development team
• Provides appropriate guidance to QA for code changes, verbally and in bug tracking software
• Effectively communicates with the Support team and provides guidance for resolving complex customer problems
• Reviews test cases and provides feedback
• Participates on customer calls with Support representatives
• Provides timely response to Sales requests via Escalate
• Works with Product Managers and Program Managers to resolve questions about requirements for features that the developer owns
• Clearly describes implemented features to Information Developers
• Implements designs from the UX team
• Interviews Associate Developer and Developer candidates
• Reviews and provides feedback for feature designs of own product
• Monitors Thwack forums and provides commentary

REQUIRED:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong command of C# and the .NET Framework
• Good understanding of basic network protocols (ARP/ICMP/IPv4/TCP/UDP)
• Strong knowledge of web development in ASP.NET / jQuery / Ajax
• Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL Server
• Understanding of multithreading concepts
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Demonstrated creativity and intelligent thinking
• Solid understanding of the development process
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Able to use English on a daily basis (reasonable spoken; very good passive)

NICE TO HAVE:

• Programming experience with IPv6, SNMP
• Desktop development in WinForms
