Regular Java Developer

Your job will give you the opportunity to work as a key member of the development team working on a high profile trade capture app for Equity Derivative structured products. There is ongoing investment from the business on this application, meaning there is a regular stream of innovation and improvements to be made.

You should be able to show flexibility regarding non-standard work hours. There are plans to cooperate with different world regions

• Deliver first-class software solutions to the global Equity Derivatives business.
• Implement key parts of the system to ensure high performance and high degree of extensibility of the system in the long-term.
• Design software components according to business/functional requirements.
• Develop interfaces to be used by the clients of the system.
• Provide L3 support to the application's global user community.

• Good knowledge about Java 6/7
• Good experience in Java server side development, and familiar with Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies
• Good knowledge about Oracle DB
• Good communication skills to cooperate directly with Sales/Trading / Operations internal clients, thus a combination of domain knowledge, delivery experience as well as relationship building skills with these clients will be invaluable.
• Knowledge about Clojure would be a strong asset.
• Knowledge about the .NET/WPF would be a strong asset.
• Unix experience incl. Unix shell scripts useful
