You will research and investigate market trends to build and refine talent pools. You will engage and collaborate with key business and HR leaders to ensure we are making the best decisions then lead the delivery of those plans.
This is joining a new team that supports surge hiring and geo-diversification (movement of work from US to International locations). As a result they may be deployed to support any International region and any business unit or function. The most urgent requirement today is UK to cover IT and Engineering for our defence business but in the coming months we will have software development in Turkey, HR in Poland, IT in India, R&D in Korea, Engineering in Brazil etc. The plan is for dedicate these folks to one or two of these areas for several months as new projects and mobilization of teams come on-stream.
- Engage with the Business leaders and Hiring Managers to discuss and deploy TA solutions that meet geo-diversification and surge hiring needs
- Research talent markets
- Attend project calls and conduct intake meetings for every requirement
- Deliver innovative sourcing solutions, generate diverse talent pools and interview shortlists
- Promote social media content across all available channels
- Own the candidate experience, maintain engagement throughout the hiring process and beyond
- Support managers to assess and select candidates for each role, carry out applicant down select, telephone screening, interview co-ordination and testing
- Lead the offer process, engaging with all parties to deliver best offer first time
- See the value in every person, diversity & inclusion at the heart of what you do
- Occasionally work out of hours to engage with globally based colleagues and candidates where applicable
- 1+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or Talent Sourcing
- Experience of talent sourcing and/or full life cycle recruiting for technical roles
- Understands the importance of, embraces and exceeds performance targets
- Inquisitive with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Always people first’; focus on candidate experience and delivering an outstanding service
- Understands the value of data to inform decision making
- Solid communicator, fluent in English
- Culturally aware; comfortable working across many geographies
- Collaborative approach to building relationships
- Eye for detail
- Digital literacy, values technology
- Experience using Workday would be an advantage but is not essential
