We are looking to bring on board a passionate Human Resources professional to help us in our journey. The Recruiter will be responsible for turning the business strategy into an actionable talent strategy and proactive recruiting plan to address critical talent gaps, helping the organization assess and select talent for both today’s and tomorrow’s business needs and ultimately creating competitive advantage in the business and talent marketplace. The recruiter will be focused on position openings in our Wroclaw, Poland, but will also support talent sourcing efforts in other geographies, including Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

Responsibilities
- Understand the business and talent strategy, consult with business and HR professionals on talent gaps and create and execute an effective and efficient sourcing strategy that delivers the best, most diverse talent to AXA XL.
- Network with industry professionals, with a specific emphasis on developing relationships with top tier, diverse talent.
- Create and execute the end-to-end recruiting process and sourcing strategy that result in better hires, faster, from needs identification to new hire’s first day. This includes creating and executing the research and effective and efficient sourcing strategy, candidate development, referrals, stakeholder management, offer creation and negotiation.
- Provide global sourcing support across business groups, functions and geographies. Partner with recruiters and other HR professionals to develop robust sourcing strategies and build talent pools for critical roles in select geographies.
- Screen, evaluate and qualify candidates, including conducting in-depth candidate interviews to develop a deep understanding of candidate qualifications and competencies.
- Provide written candidate profiles and search status reports and provide counsel regarding the interview process as well as the assessment and evaluation of candidates.
- Partner with other HR partners, as appropriate, to ensure that AXA XL is able to attract the necessary talent for today and tomorrow. This includes Total Rewards, relocation, Employment Law and Talent Management.
- Ensure an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience.
- Positively represent and differentiate the AXA XL employment brand in the talent marketplace.
- Develop and maintain relevant market intelligence and regularly share that intelligence with business leaders to inform optimal business and talent decisions.
- Maintain understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices.
- Attend appropriate business line and HR staff meetings, as well as participate in recruiting, HR and Enterprise initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluent in English, Polish languages.
- German language nice to have.
- Experience recruiting for global companies and putting together comprehensive recruiting strategies to address diverse talent needs.
- Demonstrated ability to create sourcing and recruiting strategies that bring in multiple hires quickly in Poland and other geographies with an emphasis on Germany, Switzerland.
- Preferred experience in financial services. 6-8 years of direct, relevant and recent recruiting experience in either a search firm, agency or corporation.
- Experience in both a corporate environment and a search firm preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit diverse individuals and ability to negotiate and consult on total compensation packages (base, bonus).
- Ability to work independently with a strong bias for action; able to deliver results and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to translate a business strategy into an actionable recruiting strategy.
- A global talent perspective and experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to effectively work with and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization from front-line managers to senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with thorough attention to detail. Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills and a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments and processes.
- Strong business acumen with a thirst for business knowledge.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and make decisions in a business context.
- Ability to develop a “big picture” perspective and be a strategic thinker.
- Proficiency with various candidate management and applicant tracking systems.
- Willingness to travel, as needed.
