The role of a Range & Sales Manager is about building your business as well as leading and developing people, long term. By analysing current trends and predict the future you will together with IKEA of Sweden decide on the future range and at the same time you work closely with your colleagues in the stores to help them develop themselves and optimise the commercial opportunities of today.
- developing amazing customer meetings in every touch point within your range area,
- leading the competence and succession development of your colleagues in the IKEA stores,
- optimizing sales and profitability by supporting the IKEA stores to sell according to priorities and volume commitments. Following up on deviations to improve poor performance and share good examples,
- understanding your market, customers and their living situations to improve the way the customers’ meet the range,
- building a market relevant home furnishing offer by proper range dimensioning,
- pricing the range to achieve agreed turnover, profit, gross margin and ensure the lowest price in the national market.
