Requirements:
- a degree in linguistics or management studies
- experience as a Language Lead, Project Coordinator or in general localization and translation industry will be an asset
- fluent in English and one other language with passion about language quality. Proficiency in industry-standard software
- strong problem-solving and communication skills
- advanced use of Excel
Responsibilities:
- enable and manage quality performance for assigned languages and ensure quality meets the differentiated customer needs
- monitoring the results of the translation providers, function as a coach to key linguist contributors
- collaborate with Quality Managers and Language Excellence Manager in the deployment of quality-related processes in the localization program and all areas and processes related to language quality
- consult Quality Managers on resourcing needs for the assigned languages
- utilize a deep data driven approach to assess quality of translation services and analyze quality drivers with the support from Quality Manager / Language Excellence Manager
- creating internal and customer reports
- designing and deployment of language quality improvement plans in the localization program,
- performing miscellaneous tasks required to ensure projects as instructed by QM/LEM, including temporary backup of responsibilities specified for other positions in the localization department
