As Quality Engineer, you will become responsible for securing and implementing efficient quality procedures and processes as well as ensuring compliance with our standards, ISO 9001/14001, EN 1090 and OHSAS 18001. You will play a key role in a dynamic and development-oriented environment and work closely together with our Quality Manager in Denmark. Your focus will be on the following:
- Contribute to an optimal establishment of the quality function to enable an efficient start-up
- Educate and train employees in quality control, including preparing instructions as well as ensuring implementation and anchoring
- Interact closely with group functions within production, logistics, procurement and development, to ensure correct quality delivered to all our customer projects
- Coorporate closely with operations concerning quality standards and quality understanding
- Follow up on quality issues with external suppliers
- Ensure compliance with local, national and international laws and regulations at any time
- Accomplish audits and follow up on findings internally and externally
- Ensure updated knowhow on quality standards and latest trends
- Secure an effective implementation of relevant best practice for building a safe working environment
The ideal candidate has a strong profile with focus on safety, quality, improvements and deadlines.
- Ideally, you have a background within metal manufacturing e.g. educated welder combined with a degree in Engineering or another technical background with strong focus on quality. Solid experience from similar productions with high quality standards and a project oriented workflow
- Proactive, self-driven, energetic, service minded, ambitious and result-oriented and prepared to make the difficult decisions
- You understand the importance of balancing qualityconsiderations and production efficiency
- Thorough knowledge of metalworking processes, including bending, welding, and surface treatment processes
- Experience in maintenance, implementation, and anchoring of the processes in quality systems
- You are confidential with ISO 9001/14001, EN 1090 and OHSAS 18001
- English on negotiation level
