Xstream is undergoing rapid development, and therefore we are looking for an energetic, structured and hardworking IT-Project Manager for our office in Copenhagen, to help our clients have the best video-on-demand solution in the world.
- Working closely with Software Developers in small scrum teams and sprint development cycles to deliver the highest quality products through the entire SDLC
- Continuing evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features
- Being primarily responsible for planning, scheduling, overseeing and performing functional testing
- Designing test cases and test scripts
- Executing test cases, identify, record and communicate defects and risks
- Performing initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs to determine breakdown source
- Extending and maintaining the automated regression test suite
- Reviewing acceptance criteria, requirements for accuracy, clarity and completeness
- Acting as the secondary point of contact for answering queries from Project Managers, Product Owners and other supporting business functions
- Thinking out of the box
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in verification and validation systems of software
- Good analytical skills and proven experience in analyzing and writing manual scripts for complex business rules
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and adapt to changes in project priorities
- Ability to provide detailed feedback
- Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn
- Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of the development lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile), software release processes and defect management
- Knowledge of testing Web Services of APIs
- Knowledge of or eagerness to learn: JavaScript, CoffeeScript, Java.
- Hands-on experience in SQL
- Knowledge or experience with open source tools such as Selenium WebDriver, JMeter
- A mixture of exposure to both automation and manual testing
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
