(Test Automation Engineer)

Test Engineer is independent and self-organized individual contributor who works in autonomous team called API (around 15 members for now). As a QA Lead, you will work on automating all aspects of our delivery to make sure the expected level of quality is reached. You will be supporting the definition of the test coverage and enforcing tests coverage in our pipelines.

- Defining and improving QA strategy, approach and execution in development team.
- Ensuring that the development team adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QA strategy as defined.
- Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the project to the team key stakeholders.
- Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and best test automation practices.
- Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact in the team.
- Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing, agile testing, framework, strategy and discipline.
- Work with other QA engineers, Developers and the Tech Leads to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
- Provide technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
- Be accountable for the test automation project, mentor, and provide leadership to the other QA automation engineers.
- Maintain and improve existing test automation framework and CI/CD pipelines for the team.
- At least 3 year experience in QA Lead/Test Automation Engineer or similar role
- Participate in refining acceptance criteria together with business to maximise test coverage
- Support and coach the team to integrate quality in all they do (unit tests, user story writing, tests automation)
- Contribute relentlessly to quality improvements in your team: solution design, workflow, monitoring
- Practical knowledge of any programming language, preferably in scripting language area
- Ability to build and maintain custom Test Automation Frameworks
- Understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques and Built-In-Quality
- Not only know how to create test cases but also how to anticipate what is needed to execute them
- Practical knowledge of working with REST APIs (incl. extensive test automation experience)
- Experience with Git
- Experience working in agile development environment
