Publications Technician

Requirements:
- At least high school diploma (Publishing degree preferred)
- Over 2 years of publishing (electronic and/or reprographics) experience preferred
- Experience in hard deadline environment
- Previous experience working in engineering industry would be an asset
- good knowledge of English
Responsibilities:
- Provide publishing technical support using advanced computer applications and equipment
- Create complex documents, including technical project reports, proposals, and marketing deliverables (can include everything from creating, editing, formatting and producing electronic and hard copy deliverables)
- Completes routine technical tasks and follow direction from a lead
- Ensures client satisfaction with work product. Performs quality control check to meet project quality and budget requirements
- Completes multiple, related technical tasks
- Meets objectives, deadlines, and budgets for individual tasks/projects
- Solves own problems and escalate concerns to appropriate manager
- Evaluate sand resolve problems by applying appropriate solution previous practice and similar experiences
- May assist with supply ordering and record keeping under direction of a lead. May escalate equipment issues as needed
