As a Project Manager in Thomson Reuters Labs, you will be part of a global interdisciplinary team of experts. We hire specialists across a variety of AI research areas, as well as Engineering and Design, to drive the company’s digital transformation and innovation.
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Project Manager to join our growing team of scientists, designers and engineers. You will be part of a team that builds ground-breaking solutions and makes significant advancements to products across Thomson Reuters that empower our customers with critical information and inform the way forward.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as Project Manager you will:
Manage a strategic portfolio for the business, lead projects and leverage agile frameworks to accelerate project delivery and deliver on our growth objectives
Coach cross-functional teams to adopt an agile mindset and implement agile practices in their day-to-day work, focusing on accelerating and launching new projects and initiatives on-time, on-budget
Develop and monitor metrics to track the progress of Labs projects
Promote self-organization, team culture, and continuous improvement within Labs
Accelerate project management and execution with an agile model
Champion Labs’ “Ways of Working” to ensure project teams complete and have required documentation and support
Support the PMO, as needed, with project management administrative tasks such as analysis and reporting of project metrics, backlog/financial forecast, milestone reporting, resource forecasting, status, and other administrative tasks as assigned by manager
Be a catalyst for change within Labs and across Thomson Reuters

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Project Manager if you have:
Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or MBA preferred
PMP or AMP certification preferred or thorough knowledge and demonstrated execution of project management methodology including documentation
3-5 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, accounting, legal industry, or consulting
Experience with one or more of the following tools: Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, MS Project, MS PowerBI, Advanced Excel
Knowledge and/or experience in leading technology projects that were developed using the Agile methodology
Previous experience with projects that deploy new software solutions to the market
Ability to understand business needs/ requirements
Experience in Lean, Scrum, Kanban, or other lean and agile frameworks, function prioritization, MVP definition, iteration planning, version management, etc.
Change Management experience
Experience in creating and aligning dynamic and measurable goals of the organization with short cadence
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within the company across all functions with a team-oriented style.
Experience working successfully with virtual/global teams, effectively adapting to local operating models and culture
Competency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS products
