Position purpose
The purpose of the Project Manager position is to lead medium-sized to large projects for internal and external Capgemini clients.
Job description
- Responsible for all activities relating client projects
- Responsible for definition and delivery of the overall scope of the project
- Sets project plan, timeline, organization chart, financial forecasts and reconciliations
- Works with CG Management Team to coordinate all activities
- Responsible for overseeing creation of Business Requirements Specification and Functional Specifications
- Partners with BPO IT delivery teams to define the deliverables and schedules for a project
- Accountable for management of all project activities across BPO IT including Business Analysis, Infrastructure, Development, Testing, Release Management, and Deployment
- Coordinates with the responsible Business IT resource
- Deliver according to budget with no additional non-funded costs, by:
- Setting expectations at the beginning of the project including clear identification of scope of services, project charter, financial forecast and adherence to forecast
- Describe project milestones and sign off criteria during initial meetings Monitor and maintain accountability to flag any discrepancies between initial agreements and raising those as a project change request
- Reports on the weekly bases project progress and financials (including risk areas) to Project Management supervisor
- Maintain action, issue and risk log through the project
- Ensure sign off on all milestones and communicate/escalate to Project Management supervisor and Business IT on any delays/project impacts
- Present BPO IT applications to potential and current CG clients
Candidate's profile:
- Having PMP certification
- Ability to influence at senior management levels in the BPO organization
- Excellent Client facing skills
- Strong relationship building, communication, and negotiation/influencing skills
- Able to build rapport quickly in a multicultural environment
- Project management
- Ability to take action and produce desired outcomes with limited direction
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Previous project management experience is desired
- Advanced knowledge concerning at least one of the processes P2P/OTC/R2R
- Very good analytical skills
- Fluent English is essential, other language would be an advantage
