We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. We want an enthusiastic, likable, sociable, well-organised person who will ensure that our clients are kept happy by delivering on time and budget.
You should have a sound understanding of managing multiple web projects and will be able to liaise effectively with Clients throughout the project lifecycle as well as work with the development team.

Day to day communication with clients.

Ensure that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines.

Prepare detailed project cost estimates. Responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain approval signatures. Explanation of project scope and the associated costs as required is part of this process.

Generation of project documents for clients and team.

Monitor progress, ensure financial control and quality of project.

Manage, and adapt to, change and risks.

Rapid identification of issues concerning the project, specifically: changing timelines, scope creep requiring budgetary alterations, internal issues affecting client work and communicating these back to the client.

Client review updates; during and post project.

Ensure project team fully understands tasks and our projects remain on course.

Follow our project management standards and liaise with the Project Management Office, IT Department and Analyst.

Attend PMO meetings and cooperate with Head of PMO to understand resource availability and plan resources effectively.

Understand both your own, and your team’s, work priorities.

Motivate the Project Team.

Experience in direct management of IT projects with responsibility for high level analysis, budget control, estimating and project scheduling.

Good understanding of the principles of project management and project management methodologies.

Mentally strong to be able to work to very tight deadlines, whilst under high pressure from conflicting client and internal needs.

Proactive and self-starting with the ability to take control of projects independently from day one.

Ability to work effectively across a range of client projects simultaneously.

Demonstrable track record in project management, as well as defining systems strategy.

Ideally you will have a degree with a technical background 2:1 or higher – e.g. Computer Science, Multimedia, Engineering, Physics, Maths. You should have a grade A or B in maths at A level standard (or equivalent).
