Position purpose
The purpose of the Project Manager (Supervisor) position is to lead a team of project managers who deliver projects ranging in size and complexity from small to very large for internal and external Capgemini clients.
Job description
- Responsible for leading a team of project managers who deliver projects that are essential to the BPO organization
- Oversees all projects in BPO IT to ensure that project management processes are being followed appropriately, that projects are adhering to schedule and budget targets and that clients’ needs are being met
- Communicates with BPO IT leadership regarding the status of all projects underway in the organization with a particular emphasis on high-risk or problematic projects
- Works with CG client executives and/or Engagement Executives to resolve project issues and risks
- Responsible for defining performance objectives and providing performance feedback for all project managers in his/her organization
- Recruits qualified project managers to join the project management team
- Responsible for continuous improvement of project management processes used by BPO IT
Candidate's profile:
- Expert level skills in project management, including relevant certifications
- Ability to influence at executive levels in the BPO organization
- Excellent Client facing skills at the Executive level
- Strong relationship building, communication, and negotiation/influencing skills
- Able to build rapport quickly in a multicultural environment
- Strong track record of successful delivery of IT projects
- Ability to lead teams of skilled IT professionals
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge concerning at least one of the processes P2P/OTC/R2R
- Very good analytical skills
- Fluent English is essential, other language would be an advantage
