Callis is an esteemed Hungarian project developer company working in the renewable energy sector. Having successfully realized energy projects for nearly 200 megawatts, it is now expanding its activities.
To afforce its operation in Poland, Callis is looking for an enthusiastic candidate capable of being a member of a distant development team.
The ultimate task of the successful candidate would be to effectively contribute towards the development of wind energy projects in Poland by negotiating with mayors, land owners, permitting authorities, utility companies and regulatory bodies. While know-how and technical help is provided from the Eastern-European center, the new colleague will be required to cope with the local specialties and show certain creativity.
Furthermore the project developer shall fight its way through bureaucracy and take part in the decision making process. The ideal candidate is fresh in mind, persuasive and trustworthy. Prior experience can be made up with salesman attitude.
Tasks
- Responsibility for the contractual relationships built up during the project development phase,
- Understanding and analyzing local permitting procedures and thus identify the most effective way(s) of development,
- Managing relationship with relevant communes, authorities and utilities,
- Have overall performance responsibility for the activities of Callis by managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual obligations and
- Regularly reporting the project status to the Eastern-European center.

- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in law, economy or engineering
- Minimum 5 years full time working experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in contracting and negotiating with subcontractors
- Proven work experience in English
- Experience in project management and permitting
- Ability to understand and clarify legal issues
- Ability to stay motivated and work alone
- English: fluent
- Strongly bonus oriented, negotiable
