Program Manager

Responsibilites
The successful candidate will have the following accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Managing program transparently and according to the program and project management frameworks, including:
- Ensuring that the projects in the program follow SDLC principles / standards,
- Program change management,
- All necessary planning, controlling and reporting tasks within program,
- Managing risks, issues and dependencies,
- Being responsible for adequate program documentation,
- Providing the program plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.),
- Providing the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of committed program deliveries,
- Ensuring all relevant project deliverables during all phases are delivered.
- Being fully accountable for the Program budget, responsible to ensure that project managers provide accurate forecasts and resource plans which must reconcile against actuals.
- Driving the program forward in an assertive and independent manner by building consensus in the face of both organisational and technical complexity and ambiguity.
- Organizing and leading the program and the team (i.e. planning and managing allocated resources, shaping priorities, coordinating interactions with customers and users and keeping the program team focused).
- Ensuring all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performing all relevant reviews.
- Evaluating the program team in order to support Line Managers in their employee evaluation.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience or attitude:
- Solid experience in the management of large and complex programs / projects, preferably with information security / data protection / access management background with multiple project managers and work streams. Any experience of Smartcard, OTP, Radius or Building/Physical Access projects would be a distinct advantage. PMP, PgMP or other project and program management certifications are a distinct advantage.
- Ability to positively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage conflicts.
- Relentless pursuit of achieving our very ambitious targets and milestones with a "want to deliver" and "get it done" mentality.
- Flair for technical / infrastructure questions (but does not have to be a technical person).
- Excellent English written and oral skills in presenting complex topics in a succinct manner. German is an advantage.
- Good self-organization/self-starter.
- SDLC knowledge and experience.
- Experience within the financial services industry, ideally in a large organisation.
