Product Manager – Small Business Cards
Location: Warszawa, Warsaw
Job description
Visa Europe has an opportunity in the Commercial Solutions team for a Product manager, for a period of 12 months. (Option to extend by 12 months.)
Key Accountabilities:
- Working with Polish Banks in the SME sector, you will be responsible for ‘the project management of a small Business card focused project. This will include working on a one-to-one basis with Visa Business card issuers in the market to understand their performances.
- Responsibility for the development of the market plan for the product and delivery of the plan
- Leading marketing activities in the market, developing marketing materials and presentations.
- This role will include some training of Bank’s Product Managers, Segment Managers and Sales Force on the product.
- You will be the first point of contact with the Issuers in the Polish market
- A key success component in this role will be regular liaison with the key contacts within the Banks involved in the project.
- You will report to the European project manager appointed to implement and rollout the expansion project in Poland and in other European Countries
- You will deliver agreed milestones to agreed timescales.
- You will be required to work with the Commercial team in London and proactively with Relationship Management team in Poland to support existing issuers.
Requirements
- The successful applicant is likely to possess a minimum of 5 years product propositions marketing experience preferably within the banking, payment card industry or consulting.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Consultancy and training experience would be preferable.
- Very independent and keen to propose activities and ideas to develop the market.
- Some knowledge of the Polish SME market.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and speaking to wider audiences.
- Experience of managing projects in a business to business environment with a strong focus on delivery.
- Orientation towards teamwork and ability to work in parallel with multiple parties and multiple projects and across the organisation to ensure that Visa delivers the best results for Banks.
- Clear achievement drive and proven attitude and self-motivation to establish and achieve goals and targets.
- Strong relationship skills with the ability to gain confidence of customers, establishing open and effective relationships with all parties.
- Good innovation skills with the ability to recognise the need for change and new ideas.
- Excellent professional conduct, by demonstrating integrity and honesty in both internal and external relationships.
- Limited travel required.
- Fluent Polish and English.
