About this opportunity
Welcome to the Procurement Services teams. We add value by supporting directly our Business Partners throughout Nordea to reach their targets by providing advice and executional services when it comes to optimize cost. As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a valuable role in being involved in variety of tasks/projects, providing cost transparency and efficiency for various Nordea Business Areas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Purchase Order implementation for new and existing suppliers
- Invoice handling – verification against legal and fiscal requirements as well as signed contracts with the Nordea’s suppliers, invoice pre-coding
- Handling employees’ and suppliers’ queries related to P2P process
- Closely cooperate with internal and external stakeholders on spend transparency
- Reporting invoice discrepancies to secure correctness of spend under management
- Controlling purchasing compliance across Nordea
- Seeking improvement possibilities in daily work
- Actively participate in various projects

Your experience and background:
- Knowledge of accounting principles in Accounts Payable or/and Bachelor degree in economy, finances
- Very good command of English - both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in purchasing processes would be an asset
- Project Management skills would be an asset
