Primary responsibilities

Supporting process management finance (R2R) in:

Development of common process definition, measurements, methodology and tools to drive end-to-end process improvements across the Lufthansa Global Business Services customers.
Be responsible for maintaining and further development of an effective internal control system (ICS) for our customer processes with the GSDC’s.
Design, implementation and updating of the processes in scope assuring compliance and quality with lower costs and higher producivity.
Group-wide steering, development, standardization, harmonization and optimization of the processes.
Coordinate the ICS standardization project (P2P, O2C, R2R) and steer its implementation incl. required reporting-, and technical adjustments with PM’s and operations.
Manage activities with the R2R “Runbook” project and focus on “Module ICS”.
Work on ToBe procedure of an internal process and compliance audit (PCA) with PM’s for the GSDC’s.
Coordinate and conduct annual internal self-audits in close cooperation with group companies and GSDC’s.
Be responsible to follow up recognized activities from internal reviews and audits, define improvements methods in cooperation with GSDC’s.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in the area of risk management and ICS.
Take on special tasks or projects, ie ICat (ticketing system) improvements.

Key requirements

Practical knowledge of operations in R2R/P2P/O2C.
University diploma or equivalent (Business / Finance / Economy).
Good understanding of operational risk management, internal controls and quality assurance methods in the area of finance.
Experience in coordination and conduction of internal quality assurance reviews or internal audits.
SAP FI knowledge.
Strong coordination and co-operation skills.
Ability to deliver project deadlines, project management experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (self-confidence and convincing skills), highly independent and systematic approach to work, analytical and conceptual mindset, customer orientation, very good command of English, German will be a plus.
International travel required up to 20%.
