Aon's Krakow Shared Service Centre is establishing a Process Improvement and Automation Team to support it's business efficiency agenda.
We are looking for a motivated process improvement and automation experts to join the new team.
The Team, sponsored by Krakow Centre Location Lead, working closely in cooperation with Global Automation Centre of Excellence Lead and BU Operations SME's will be responsible for delivering process improvement projects across main business functions in Krakow, applying tools such as VBA, VB, Microsoft Power solutions and different reporting platforms.
It's an unique opportunity to significantly contribute to organizational change and improvement of processes.
The Senior Process Improvement Specialist works under minimal guidance to implement process improvements using various non-invasive technologies, according to requirements and standards. In addition, responsible for design of solutions under minimal guidance. Supports the team in project planning activities, and responsible for areas such as estimation and risk identification within the scope of their work.

- Implements process improvement solutions according to the functional specifications, detailed design, maintainability, and coding and efficiency standards under minimal guidance.
- Executes testing to verify basic functionality of their or a peer's code under minimal guidance.
- Designs solutions under limited guidance leveraging existing standards.
- Creates documentation for solutions as per defined standards and processes under minimal guidance.
- Performs the assessment, analysis and technical specifications under minimal guidance.
- Supports the team in project planning activities, estimating, in evaluating risks, and prioritizing based on requirements.
- Tracks and reports on progress with manager and/or stakeholders.
- Creates, maintains, and publishes development and documentation standards
- Partners with the stakeholder and/or manager and contributes to scoping discussions and creates supplemental/non-functional requirements.
- Facilitates formal code reviews to ensure standards are being met.
- Acts as a technical subject matter expert for the internal team on areas such as VBA functionality and approach including solving issues, performance initiatives.
- May assign project development tasks to development team members.
- Assists team in applying design, development and process standards.
- Participates in R&D initiatives to implement new technologies for process improvement use cases.
- Degree in Finance, IT, econometrics, mathematics related field / 3+ year experience in SSC or BPO
- Proven track record of improvement and automation initiatives
- Excellent command of VBA
- Practical knowledge of Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel
- Continuous process improvement mindset and experience
- Lean Methodology knowledge would be a plus
- Ability to gather and translate business needs to valid improvement requirements
- Able to quickly learn new concepts or technical tasks
- Good understanding of relational database concepts
- Basic UiPath knowledge an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Tools (DOMO, Tableau, QlikView, SQL) would be an advantage
- Very good English skills (B2 / C1)
