As a result of dynamic growth of our company we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Process and Technology Development Specialist.
Your responsibilities
- Working on scouting, studying, prototyping and implementing the new production processes, methods, equipment and tools.
- Working closely with OpEx and Technology Managers and representatives of all transformers factories in the world.
- Leading process improvement projects from inception to implementation.
- Developing recommendations for moving to the ideal end-state process and present proposals to key stakeholders and leaders for buy-in.
- Execution of recommendations by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders through an implementation plan.
- Measuring the performance of newly implemented solutions and iterating on the process for continual refinement.
- Developing strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company to identify opportunities for future projects.
- Contributing to research and development projects with own, creative ideas. Proposing follow-up activities based on project results.
- Close cooperation with external suppliers.
- Working as a reliable project member, having the capability to be work-package responsible, applying a structured way of working.
Your background
- Higher degree (MSc or PhD) in Automation and Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related.
- Experience in a similar position in process optimization and automation.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment (nice to have: Project Management skills; Gate Model experience).
- Being able to foresee implications of different courses of actions when making decisions and mitigate against any potential problems; (Risk Management skills).
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with experience providing business insights and recommendations from multiple input sources (e.g. data sets, process flow documents, etc.).
- Experience presenting organizational and process flow content to audiences.
- Good spoken and written English is a must.
- Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility.
