BB Corporate Research Center, in Krakow, Poland wishes to appoint a Scientist in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics to join R&D Drives and Control research group. In this job you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for Future Drives Products, applications using cutting-edge tools and methodologies, within a multidisciplinary and international team.
Tasks:
- Develop new solutions for Power Electronics Control Software as well as Hardware;
- Specify components and define technical requirements with suppliers;
- Perform commissioning and type tests (partly on the vehicle);
- Support the repair and test department;
- Prepare technical documentation;
- Act as a contact person for our customers in all technical matters;
- With appropriate qualification, assume technical project lead of customer projects;
- Use analytical skills to solve problems systematically.
Key requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master or PhD);
- Knowledge of Power Electronic based Drives technology;
- Knowledge of Power Electronic Control algorithms – including Matlab/Simulink Application;
- Ability to utilize different software technologies;
- Experience in the design of power electronics circuits is a plus;
- Good command of English;
- Quick perception as well as an independent, structured, and proactive work style;
- Team player with strong communication skills;
- Strong networking skills matched with natural ability to interact and communicate easily;
- Flexibility and ability to work in a self-directed manner.
