Job description:


Payroll Manager is responsible for all client-related tasks inclusive of the achievement of high client satisfaction. Manager is  the main interface to the external client and is responsible for service delivery  in Payroll area . He/she is responsible as people managers to manage employees delivering the client service, including their development and availability. Maintains awareness of contracted service levels, plans and outlooks and are the primary interface for all planning matters related to the client contract.

 

Main activities:

  • exposure to  Finance & Accounts client Operations (United Kingdom location)
  • developing and maintaining a pro-active working relationship with Client, through regular client contact.
  • responsibility  for managing the focal point relationship with allocated Client contacts, for the entire contract
  • focusing on maintaining a good contract spirit, through pro-active communication, coaching and counseling, in line with policies and procedures.
  • scheduling, prioritizing and allocating work to the team leader and individuals
  • ensuring that processing is adequately controlled and that independent verification occurs where necessary.
  • ensuring clear and concise communication within the group and drives good group spirit
  • preparing and delivering presentations to client and internally which highlight alternatives, recommendations, implications and risks
  • accountable for achievement of high client satisfaction

What we look for:

  • background: business, preferably finance/accounting
  • ideally delivery experience should cover payroll area
  • 5 years experience in the F&A service delivery
  • experience in driving groups to work in a service oriented, customer focused environment
  • show well-developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • team player with excellent people management skills
  • demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency
  • pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought
