We are looking for candidate, who will be able to manage and support resolution of inquiries, exceptions within Accounts Payable processes, across EMEA territories. Coordinates escalated items between the SDC P2P transactional and help desk teams and business units to resolve issues and to determine if appropriate actions have been taken. Communicates resolution to affected parties. Identifies and proposes actions to resolve repetitive service issues. Liaisons with Service Provider, business units, territories and regions providing subject matter expertise for Accounts Payable. Represents territories in AP Global Governance activities.
Continually promotes awareness and benefits of process improvement strategies in the context of actual business situations as well as the potential to facilitate or add input to training. Will be required to develop training and/or work with outsource service provider to updates to desk top procedures (DTP’s) and submit formal change requests as deemed appropriate. Must have an ability to understand controls and gaps to ensure procedures have internal controls and are sox compliant.
The following working hours spread for the delivery team should be considered 8:00-19:00.
Delivery phase:
Research and resolve Accounts Payable issues
- Determine if appropriate actions have been taken prior to escalation
- Contact BU or other client internally involved parties to resolve identified issues
- Communicate resolution of item to Service Provider within agreed upon time frames
Identify root cause of repetitive problems
- Propose remedial actions to reduce future instances of repetitive problems
- Work with Service Provider and/or territory business units to implement processes to resolve identified root causes
Engage with Service Provider to provide AP subject matter expertise
- Participate in scheduled status update calls with Service Provider regarding operational issues
- Present territory issues with services provided. Work with Service Provider to determine solutions and report back to business units on resolution of identified issues
Monitor business unit compliance with established AP Policies and Procedures
- Work with business units to resolve areas of non-compliance identified by Service Provider
Responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and escalate rush/emergency invoice requests from initial request to payment
- Determine root cause of returned payments/payment rejections and provide resolution
- Review and research and resolve to balance out debit/credit reports
- Communicate changes in VAT rates to Service Provider
- Represent territory specific issues to AP Global Governance including internal audit controls and Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX)
- Assist in project and process management tasks as required including new integration of new businesses
- Review desktop procedures (DTPs) in conjunction with Globa Process Owner (client)
- Minimum 3 years experience in P2P (Account Payable and Procurement)
- Very good knowledge of Italian or German is a must (C1/C2)
- Very good English skills
- Ver good knowledge of French will be an asset
- Abbility to travel (frequent travels may be required during initial phase of the project)
- SAP knowledge will be an advantage
